Idahos Rising Star
The Idaho Arts Charter School Foundation is pleased to announce two great annual fundraising events:

The Idaho's Rising Star vocal competition slated for March 28th for the Semi-finals and the finals will be held on May 10th in conjunction with the Idaho Festival of the Arts. Vocalists from around the State of Idaho will compete for the title of Idaho's Rising Star and a chance to pursue their dreams. The event will also host the Lil' Rising Star competition for aspiring vocalists ages 8 - 15. This event is sure to be a HUGE hit as proven by the immensely successful American Idol competition. Come see the talented vocalists Idaho has to offer!



Idaho Festival of the Arts The Idaho Festival of the Arts scheduled for May 9 - 10th of 2008 at the Nampa Civic Center is sure to be a crowd pleaser. This two day, family friendly event will celebrate and promote Idaho's talented artisans from around the state. Top student performers will be intermingled with seasoned professionals and all genre's of the arts will be featured. The Festival will host a juried and non-juried Art Show, drama troupes, dance troupes, bands, orchestras, choirs and more. A hands on children's area will host kid-friendly performances, seminars, art projects and more. Saturday evening will host the finals for the Idaho's Rising Star - sure to be a sold out event!
